PURPOSE:To give a user warning indicating the possibility of mistranslation by displaying an auxiliary verb in an English sentence to be translated and a tanslated word corresponding to the auxiliary verb with emphasis. CONSTITUTION:An English sentence to be translated is inputted from an English input part 1 and analyzed by an English analyzing part 2 and the information of an auxiliary verb existing in the English sentence is stored in an auxiliary verb table 3 by an auxiliary verb registering part 4. A translation executing part 5 translates the English sentence into a Japanese sentence by means of the analytical result. At the time of displaying the English sentence and its translated sentence by a translated result display part 6, the auxiliary verb in the English sentence to be translated which is registered in the table 3 and the translation word corresponding to the auxiliary verb in the translated sentence are displayed with emphasis. Consequently warning indicating the possibility of mistranslation due to the existence of plural interpretations can be given to the user. |
