SYSTEM FOR RETRIEVING FURNITURE/BUILDING MATERIAL INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To unitary manage the commodity information of furniture and building materials and to use the commodity information in common from remote agents. CONSTITUTION:A host 100 stores the color image data of respective commodities out of furniture and building materials, commodity information including the attribute data of respective commodities and commodity codes and is provided with an image data base to be used for the retrieving processing of the stored data and a communication control part for executing communication with terminals 300, 400 through a transmission line 200. Each terminal 300 is provided with an input means having a function for executing the retrieving operation of the image data base, a display for displaying retrieved commodity information, a printing means for printing out the displayed picture information, and communication control part for executing communication with the host 100.
