PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inertia lock device capable of surely holding a member to be locked by a latch in simple operation. SOLUTION: This inertia lock device 3 is assembled by a receiving bed 31 having a substantially U-shaped receiving port 30 for receiving the member 1a to be locked, opened obliquely upward, a latch 32 presenting the substantially inverted-J shaped side shape extending from the base part 32a to a curbed upper part 32b and having a jaw part 32c where the member 1a to be locked entering the receiving port 30 of the receiving bed 31 abuts projected toward the base of the receiving port 30, a pivot pin 33 of the latch 32, and a torsion coil spring 34 mounted on the axis of the pivot pin 33.
