PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility for a resident staying at home to judge a visitor who made a call operation in front of the door and also the security when responding to the call. SOLUTION: When a call button 11 of a door interphone 1 is pressed by a visitor, a call detecting circuit 31 of a room main interphone 2 detects the call, and a signal generating circuit 32 is activated to make a call sound through a main interphone speaker 39. Then, the communication between the slave interphone microphone 16 or speaker outside the door and a main interphone microphone 38 or the main speaker in a room are made possible. The video images shot by a camera 16 of the slave are projected on a video monitor display 36 of the main interphone, and a message sending circuit 34 is prepared to convey prescribed messages to the slave speaker which are stored in a message accumulated circuit 33 in advance that was started when the call was detected by the call detecting circuit.
