PHOTOCURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION, LOW-BIREFRINGENCE OPTICAL MEMBER, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable resin composition which can give a cured article having not only clarity but also high heat resistance and mechanical strengths and usable for many optical applications. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains (A) 70-99 pts.wt. alicyclic- backbone-containing bis(meth)acrylate represented by formula (I), (B) 30-1 pt.wt. alicyclic-backbone-containing mono(meth)acrylate represented by formula (II), (C) 1-10 pts.wt. at least bifunctional mercapto compound, and (D) 0.05-1 pt.wt. compound having 3, 5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl group.
