PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an on-vehicle navigation system which accepts voice input of contents, written on roadside bulletin boards for information and returns an answer as to whether the contents are related to the current route. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle navigation system, which searches the route to a destination and guides a vehicle along the searched route, is provided with a route information preparing means which prepares information about the searched route; a route information registration means which registers the data on the pronunciation of route information prepared by the route information preparing means; a voice information input means which inputs voice information; a determining means which determines whether the voice information inputted by the voice information input means is related with the data on the read and registered route information and a guidance control means which is controlled to perform guidance, based on the determination result of the determining means.
