In order to produce a fibre nonwoven from a pre-nonwoven, a conventional card drum 1 with a suction-controlled continuously moved catching surface 2 for the fibres flying off from the card drum 1 is used. So that advantageous conveying conditions for the fibres which fly off can be ensured, the fibre covering of the card drum 1 is sucked away through a radial suction duct 3 between the card drum 1 and the catching surface 2, the conveying air being sucked in via supply-air orifices 12 which are provided in the region in which both the inflow- side and the outflow-side duct walls 10 and 11, as seen in the direction of rotation of the card drum 1, adjoin the said card drum. <IMAGE> |
