PURPOSE:To allow the telephone set to reply an external line incoming call during extension talking immediately without keeping the external line opposite party waiting long. CONSTITUTION:When a bell incoming call detection circuit 3 detects an arrival of an external line incoming call during the extension talking between slave sets A, B, a control CPU 4 informs the arrival of the external line incoming call to all the slave sets A, B with a beep tone generator 5 and executes two kinds of control to connect an extension to an external line in response to the setting content of a priority slave set setting operation section 8. In the case of no slave set priority setting by the priority slave set setting operation section 8 as one kind of them, the connection between the slave sets A, B and a line 1 is implemented after awaiting the ON operation of the slave set external line button by any of the slave sets A, B. In the case of the presence of slave set priority setting by the priority slave set setting operation section 8 as the other control, an extension speech channel is immediately interrupted without the ON operation of the external line button in any of the slave sets A, B and an external line connection between the external line and a slave set such as the slave set B is implemented. |
