PURPOSE:To enable selection of musical sound generating channel assigned to input musical sound information without giving uncomfortable feeling to played expression such as sudden disappearance of reverberation in an assigner for selecting musical instrument generating channel assigned to play information inputted with a keyboard, etc., related with an electronic musical instrument generating the musical sound added with effective sound. CONSTITUTION:Multiple musical sound generating channels 26 are assigners to select musical sound generating channel assigned to input musical sound information for an electronic musical instrument consisting of a combination of a musical sound generating part which generates musical sound information based on input musical sound information and an effect adding part for the musical sound signal. It is provided with a calculating means which calculates evaluation quantity for each channel to select channel based on respective states of music sound generating parts, a correcting means which corrects evaluation quantity of respective musical sound generating parts calculated by the calculating means, corresponding to the effect added by an effect adding part corresponding to musical sound generating part, a selecting means which selects a musical sound generating channel based on the corrected evaluation quantity. |
