<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to adjust turn-on speed of an insulating gate control type semiconductor element which is incorporated in a module by simple means at the time of assembling the module. CONSTITUTION:When a chip of a semiconductor element 1 is housed in a case 30, and a main terminal C of the chip and a gate terminal G are led out, part of a stranded lead wire for the gate terminal G is placed in proximity so that it is connected electrically with a conductor for a main terminal. Then, when current begins to flow in the conductor for a main terminal at the time of turn-on of the semiconductor element 1, it is made possible to apply an excessive voltage, induced in the lead wire connected with the semiconductor element, on the gate. In addition, it is made possible to adjust accurately and easily the turn-on speed of the semiconductor element 1 according to the connecting level of the lead wire with the conductor.</p> |
