PURPOSE:To avoid the consumption of the oil for a long period of time as well as to prevent the occurrence of the bubbles or the like in the oil layer, by forming the oil layer with the specified oil in the oil tank and between the light guide and the photoelectric redoubling tube. CONSTITUTION:Oil layer 4 is formed with the silicone oil in circular oil tank 8 and between light guide 2 which polymerizes with plastic scintillator 1 and photoelectric redoubling tube 3. Thus the light to detect the radiation and produced from scintillator 1 to be then propagated to tube 3 through guide 2 is led into tube 3 with a high efficiency and with no occurrence of the diffused reflection and the like. In such constitution with addition of tank 8, no silicone oil flows out. And this silicone oil forming layer 4 is maintained although the component holding the both ends of layer 4 between may have the thermal deformation due to the fluctuation of the temperature. As a result, the silicone oil consumption can be prevented for a long time of period, and at the same time the occurrence of the bubbles and gaps in the oil layer can be avoided.
