PURPOSE:To detect the writing of extra data and the omission of data in data transfer by generating and adding a bit for data transfer to the data and writing them in the FIFO, and checking the added bit when the data are read out in the data transfer system which transfers data through an FIFO. CONSTITUTION:This data transfer system is provided with the FIFO 1, a transfer data generating means 3, and an error detecting means 5; and the transfer data sent from a data transfer source are written in the FIFO 1 together with the additional transfer data generated by the transfer data generating means 3 and the error detecting means 5 compares the transfer data added to the transfer data read out of the FIFO 1 with generated error check data to detect an error. |
