PURPOSE:To prevent wasting employee's time at a shop and to utilize it by outputting instruction that product selection and specification ended after receiving it from a customer order terminal. CONSTITUTION:Each of multiple accounting terminals 12 connected to a shop management controller 10 is connected to a customer order terminal 14, thus POS system is configured. A customer specifies/inputs a product using the customer order terminal 14. After the specification completes, the customer presses a order end key which is a specification key to finish ordering. Pressing of the order end key makes a flasher lamp at an accounting terminal 12 which is used by shop's employees flash and issue an alarm sound. An employee comes to a customer for servicing when awakened by such means as issuing alarming sound. So, the employee can service other customers until called for by alarming sound, etc., while that customer is selecting products. |
