摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a power supply for vehicle in which a high voltage battery can be charged with no sacrifice of fuel consumption of engine by operating the high voltage battery with a brake state input signal every time when the vehicle is braked. CONSTITUTION:When a DC high voltage load 15 is required to be conducted, a high voltage power supply controller 17 closes an electromagnetic switch 16 to feed power from a high voltage battery 14. Upon finish of the operation of the DC high voltage load 15, the electromagnetic switch 16 is opened to interrupt discharge of the high voltage battery 14. Subsequently, a brake signal is inputted to an engine controller 18 and a brake state signal is inputted to the high voltage power supply controller 17 every time when a vehicle is braked. Consequently, an electromagnetic switch 13 is closed and a high voltage power supply means 10 operates to charge the high voltage battery 14. According to the constitution, brake energy conventionally discarded every time when the vehicle is braked can be utilized for charging the high voltage battery and thereby fuel consumption of engine can be enhanced.
