PURPOSE:To improve the heat conductivity, and improve the workability and the working environment in the manufacture of insulated heat radiating plate by impregnating the compact, which is mainly composed of boron nitride, with the heat radiating oil at a specified weight %. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing an insulated heat radiating plate made of the material which is mainly composed of boron nitride, boron nitride powder or the mixture powder of boron nitride powder and ceramics powder is manufactured by atmospheric sintering and hot press sintering or the like. Porosity at this stage is adjusted by adjusting the pressure at the time of green molding or pressing. As the heat radiating oil, for example, hydrocarbon oil, silicone oil, ester oil, and halogen oil are used, and especially, dimethylsilicone, methylphenylsilicone, and alkyl modified silicone are desirable. A rate of impregnation is set at 3-35weight%, and the impregnation is performed under the reduced pressure. |
