PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase contents data storage capacity of the entire mobile terminal without increasing the capacity of a memory mounted on a mobile terminal body. SOLUTION: A secondary battery 1 is removably mounted to a mobile terminal body 10 receptible of contents data sent externally. The mobile terminal is provided with a connector 45 that is conductively connected to the mobile terminal body 10 when the connector 45 is mounted on the mobile terminal body 10, a battery cell 35 that can be charged by voltage supplied externally, a memory 40 electrically connected to the battery cell 35, and a controller 38 that receives contents data sent via the connector 45 from the mobile terminal body 10 when the connector 45 is connected to the mobile terminal body 10 and stores the data to the memory 40.
