Device (5) for multidirectional controls, comprising at least one reed (10) fitted with strain gauges which detect multidirectional deformations suffered by the reed (10) under the action of a force F exerted on a face of the reed. One (11) of the ends of the reed being articulated (13, 9) (41) with respect to a support (12), the reed (10) rests via the other face of the other end (14) on a micro-contactor (19) forming a pivot (15). The micro-contactor can supervise operations for waking-up the device and/or for validating the electrical signals originating from the strain gauges. The device exhibits a shape which is ergonomically suited to single-handed handling.
