PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a recognition object area from easily estimated in the case of executing an illegality preventing function that stops image processing when a detection object is recognized. SOLUTION: The image recognition device is provided with an image recognition section 21 that recognizes an image of given image data and a recognition signal delay section 22 that produces a random delay. When the recognition signal delay section receives a recognition signal outputted when the image recognition section recognizes a detection object, a recognition notice signal is outputted to a driver processing section 11 with a delay by a line decided by a random number. Upon the receipt of the recognition notice signal, a printer driver stops transmission of data to a printer 2. Since the print stop position is changed each time when the same image is recognized, it is difficult to recognize at which part the image is recognized and the processing is stopped.
