The invention relates to the surveillance of sealed enclosures with protected access, especially of a plurality of electrical cabinets. The objective is to supply a system for surveillance of a plurality of electrical cabinets making it possible to know at any moment whether anyone is attempting to open a cabinet. In the surveillance system according to the invention, each of the said cabinets comprises, on the one hand, means for continuously sending (9) a predetermined signal to reception means and, on the other hand, means of detection (10, 11, 15) of the opening of the said cabinet inhibiting the said sending means in the event of detection of opening, the said receiver generating an alarm signal when it no longer receives the said predetermined signal sent by one of the said cabinets. <IMAGE>
