The arrangement improves optical resolution of colour pictures produced by computer controlled active and passive optoelectronic displays. A movable shutter (4) with integral lenses (3) is positioned between a display (25) and a light receiving wall (9). The shutter and its lenses focus the light signals of the display elements (1) onto the inlet apertures of thin light conducting cables (8, 10, 11) in the wall. These cables guide their light signals to a light outlet wall (19). This wall has very thin mixed colour light conducting end cables (16, 17, 18). By moving the shutter the light signals of display elements (1) are transmitted to a number of light conductive cables resulting in a saving in space. ADVANTAGE - Provides considerably improved picture resolution. A very compact system.
