The recess comes into contact with that part of the cover surface of an adjoining body (K) which does not have a recess. The bodies have a through hole into which tubular support bars (7) are pushable. Each body (K) has a cylindrical basic shape and a concave recess (7), and the radius of the cylinder and that of the recess are the same. The hole from the body top side to the body under side narrows to the cross-section of the bars (7). The body (K) in each case is provided on its cylindrical outer surface with radially symmetrically arranged ribs. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the construction of fences or palisades which are comparatively high and do not involve the use of raising tools, and can be reinforced and cast in cement.
