The switch has a number of fixed contacts (10.1-10.3) that are initially produced as part of a single metal pressing. Each contact is formed with an extending pin (12,14,17) that passes through a slot in a base (20) for external connection purposes. The base has formed recesses (24-26) in which to positionally locate the contacts. A rotary contact ring (40) has contact dimples on the underside that engage the top surfaces of the contacts. The ring is moved by a rotor with a spring (34) maintaining contact. ADVANTAGE - Unambiguous contact engagement with vibration stability.
