2125961 9311924 PCTABS00022 A process and device for producing plastic containers, e.g. by injection or blow moulding, in which the process for making the plastic containers features an envelope sheet (8) in the form of a label integrated into said containers by the in-mould labelling process. To this end, a moulding tool has a mould and can be closed or opened, and molten plastic may be introduced therein via an aperture. An envelope sheet (8) is introduced into the mould (2) before the injection mould is closed by conveying it between two conveyor belts (21, 22) against a stop edge (15) of a suction holding mandrel (4) where the leading edge of the envelope sheet is pulled in via first depression apertures (16) and the suction holding mandrel (4) is then rotated, thus winding the envelope sheet (8) upon it. Via second depression apertures (19) distributed about the periphery, the envelope sheet (8) is held in the wound condition by the suction holding mandrel (4) over its entire length. When the moulding tool then opens, the suction holding mandrel (4) is swung into an intermediate space thus formed and transferred to the mould (2).
