The wheel clamping frame is of the padlock type. It is for use on a car transporter vehicle. The shanks (2,3) of the triangular structure (1) are joined at their crown points by bolt linkages (8) and the frame has a separation point (18) made in the form of a releasable plug connection. One shank is formed as a lockable guide shoe on the rail with spaced holes (7), and the shanks can be swivelled to a position approximately parallel to the rail. USE/ADVANTAGE - The folding wheel clamping frame is operated by hand or foot lever (14) which allows the rapid loading and unloading of a transporter.
