The touch contact screen (BS) allows various graphic symbols (B01-B04) to be displayed, such as a valve (B02), vessel (B04), conveyed object (B03) and an adjustable scale (B01). The system has a graphics controller (GC), display memory (BWS and video signal generator (BSG). Graphic display objects may either be moved by controller generated command or by contact with the screen. A signal generator (SE) provides input via the bus to the controller.
