Electronic unit has a partly open casing (10) which accommodates several electronic components (20) with plug connections (17, 18) and is filled with a cast material (25), pref. a fusion adhesive which solidifies rapidly. The pref. material is Macromelt (RTM) which is sprayed in and cured. Alternatively, a foam material can be used. ADVANTAGE - Direct contact of hermetically sealed housing with plug saves use of printed circuit board.
