The cladding panel(3) is fitted with a stepped insert sleeve (2) which has a slotted inner and corresponding to a slotted locking plate (7) mounted to the frame (6). The lock (16) has a T-bar shaped locking end to grip through the locking plate and secure the fitting. The locking surfaces are grooved for a secure grip and the locking plate is backed by an axial spring (9) to hold the locking surfaces together.
