A multilayer polyethylene structure is disclosed, which is a laminate of at least two layers of high density polyethylene. In one embodiment, a first layer is high density polyethylene of a density of at leat 0.959 grams per cubic centimeter and a melt index of about ten grams per ten minutes or less and is about 70 to 90, preferably 80, weight percent of the structure. A second layer of the laminate is high density polyethylene of a density to or less than 0.959 grams per cubic centimeter and a melt index of about ten grams per ten minutes or less and is about 20 weight percent of the structure.
