<p>A socket cleaning tool (10) having a rotatable mandrel (18) and a hollow elastomeric sleeve (30) which seats on the mandrel (18) is disclosed. The outer surface (32) of the sleeve (30) defines a plurality of wiper strips (36) which extend substantially the length of the sleeve (30) and which terminate at edges (38) that are sized and shaped to contact and wipe the surface of a socket as the sleeve (30) and mandrel (18) are rotated in the socket to clean the socket.</p> |
