<p>The present invention provides for a dentifrice formulation comprising an antibacterially effect amount of a bacteriocin antibacterial agent and an orally acceptable carrier or excipient which composition does not contain an anionic surfactant. The present invention further comprises a method of reducing or preventing the formation of dental plaque, which method comprises applying an antiplaque effective amount of a composition according to the present invention to a patient in need thereof.</p> |
