The container, operated by pressure e.g. to dispense a cosmetic substance, consists of a cartridge (9) which holds the liquid substance (6) to be dispensed, located inside a tube (5) which has an applicator (8) at one end and a piston (7) at the other to expel the liquid. The piston maintains a friction seal with the inside of the cartridge, so that its movement stops once the pressure on it is released, and it is operated by a rod (1) passing through the body of the container and linked to a press button (13) at its end opposite the applicator.
