The control is such that one side of the roller the rings project over the dia. and thus serve for transporting material, e.g. in machines which process individual sheets. The sheets which are to be printed or glued are held and transported without tolerances reliably between the roller and a counter-pressure roller. The eccentrically moving rings can be used as stripper rings in coating or applicator rollers so that the material clinging to the circumference is released from the roller and transferred for further movement without strippers contacting the roller. USE/ADVANTAGE - For labelling,window gluing into cartons etc.,with firm holding of the label or sheet during gluing,printing etc.
