Compression waterpipe connection for domestic appliance - has large diameter plastics sleeve with external grips and internal profiling to grip compression nut

The domestic water connection for the appliance has a hexagonal nut which tightens the compression fitting and seals the pipe to the connecting stub on the appliance. The large diameter fitting sleeve (25) is threaded over the connecting pipe prior to fitting and grips over the nut. The interior of the sleeve has a profile to fit over the nut. The outer grips are ridges or grooves, for a secure handgrip. The fitted nut is covered by the sleeve and forms a neat coupling. USE/ADVANTAGE - Domestic appliances eg. washing machines, dishwashers, waterheaters etc. No tools required for fitting/release, connection can be made in confined space.
