The component grooves have sides parallel to its top and bottom surfaces for the seals bearing against the panes and separating the component from them. One or more ribs(27,27') protrude from one side of each groove (25,26) towards the other side, while a mounting on the top surface of the component accommodates a profiled cover(11). The latter can be of hat-shaped cross-section, with notches in the sides, by which it fits onto the component, and typically onto profiled ribs(28) on the latter. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the facade glazing panes,with a facility for adapting to the facade shape,and uniform seal compression.
