The hub support (3) for the steered wheel is pivot mounted on the axle support (2) via two bearings (4,5) in line on the steering axis. Each bearing has a volume for a lubricant reservoir (9) and both bearings on each wheel are linked by a lubricant duct (15). This increases the lubricant volume and enables lubrication via one greasing nipple on each wheel. The lubricant linking line can be incorporates inside the axle support, either by boring or by the inclusion of a pipe duct during casting, or via an external pipe.
