The method & apparatus apply ink to a copper plate attached to the surface of a copper plate roller, transcribe characters or patterns to a transcription roller covered with an artificial rubber layor, and regularly prints the patterns on uneven surfaces. The apparatus comprises a frame (1) having a plurality of conveyor rollers (15), a roller (16) supplying a printed matter (c), and a conveyor belt (17); shaft support plates (2,2') mounted on the upper part of the frame (1); a pair of rods (4,4') screwed in fixed devices (5,5'); a knife (7) moving correspondent to the screwed rods (4,4'); a fastening member (6) connected on the ends of the screwed rods (4,4'); the transcription roller (13); the copper plate roller (9); the artificial rubber layer (12).
