The sealing arrangement is designed to have a very low overall height. It has a sealing seat comprising a groove with two side walls and a base, such that the sealing seat (3) is wider than the width (b) and lower than the height (h) of the undeformed seal (1). The seal is held in the groove (5) by side ribs (11). These ribs are arranged in opposed pairs at regular intervals along the groove. The height (h) of the undeformed seal is slightly greater than the depth (H) of the groove (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Reliable seal with the flattest possible seal height, secure pre-assembly.
