<p>A cosmetic oleogel suitable for topical application to the human body surface comprises: (i) from 5 to 95% by weight of a cosmetically acceptable solvent chosen from synthetic hydrocarbon oils derived from poly- alpha -olefins, the majority of which comprise branched alkyl chains; and (ii) from 5 to 80% by weight of a cosmetically acceptable hydrophobic polymer thickener for the synthetic hydrocarbon oil, which is preferably substantially free from crosslinking and soluble in the solvent. t</p> |
