<p>An electronic inclination sensor device (level) has a display which unambiguously shows the user, when the device is not level or plumb, in which direction the user should rotate the device to achieve level or plumb, by means of an LCD display showing alternatively, three icons: one icon for level/plumb, a second icon for clockwise rotation, and a third icon for counter-clockwise rotation.
