<p>The arch-lifting machine comprises, grouped together on one and the same chassis (1) which is supported above the arches, a lifting device (9) equipped with a head (10) which comprises a table (21) forming a vault which is adapted to the nature and to the size of the arches (8). The lifting head (10) is driven with a reciprocating movement, from the bottom to the top and vice versa, by means of a deformable parallelogram. It comprises a member in the form of a finger (25) which is sensitive to the presence of an arch (8) for triggering the lifting sequence.
