The beam connector comprises two different half pieces prefabricated to matchingly interlock with each other when assembled for joining. The half pieces are separately attached to respective ends of two separate beams to join the beams by bolting bridging plates over the two halves interlocked and held firm with a clamping member that bridges the half pieces. The two half pieces are fitted into each other in a way a male-female matching.
