The display panel of a LCD device having a thin film transistor (TFT) is mfd. by (a) forming a metal layer on the substrate, (b) covering a photoresist film on the metal layer to form a gate electrode line (c) forming a pattern for an anode oxidization, and then partially forming an insulating layer on the line, (d) and lifting off the photoresist film covered on the line, and then forming a TFT device.
