PURPOSE:To stably obtain a good film of a grain-oriented electric steel sheet. CONSTITUTION:This method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electric steel sheet is characterized, in the method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electric steel sheet in which the slab of electric steel is heated to <=1280 deg.C, is thereafter subjected to hot rolling, is subjected to cold rolling for one time or two times including process annealing as hot-rolled or after hot rolled sheet annealing, is then subjected to decarburizing and nitriding treatment to form an inhibitor and is thereafter subjected to finish annealing, by removing rolling oil components stuck to the steel sheet before the decarburizing annealing and then executing the decarburizing annealing. Because the emissivity of the steel sheet before the decarburizing annealing is made constant and the temp. rising rate of the steel sheet in the process of the decarburizing annealing is made uniform, the objective grain-oriented electric steel sheet excellent in film properties can stably be obtd. |
