MAGNESIA CARBON BRICK

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve thermal spalling resistance of a magnesia carbon brick. CONSTITUTION:A magnesia carbon brick is obtained by adding a binder to a blended material of 70-90wt.% magnesia having >=1mm particle diameter, residual magnesia component composed of magnesia having <1mm particle diameter and a carbon refractory material followed by kneeding and forming. Thus, reduction of carbon content in the brick becomes to be available while keeping the thermal spalling resistance. This method contributes to the production of a high grade low carbon steel.
