PURPOSE:To obtain the subject package capable of accurately and readily dividing a laver-rolled rice ball sandwich in eating by packaging the rice ball sandwich in which a platy formed ingredient material of a specific construction sandwiched with a packaging film, containing laver and having perforations according to a specified method. CONSTITUTION:The outer edge of a film 1 for an outer bag and the outer edges of isolating films 2 and 3 are initially heat-sealed except a film cutting means 6 in the central part of the film 1. A laver housing part 5 is formed and a wrapping laver 7 with perforations 8 dividable into two pieces of the laver in the center in the longitudinal direction is housed so as to pass the perforations 8 along the cutting means 6 to provide a laver-containing packaging film (A). Different kinds of ingredient materials (11a) and (11b) for a rice ball are subsequently formed into a platy form with a food paste, hardened and arranged side by side so as to divide in the center. The resultant platy formed ingredient materials 11 are then sandwiched between pieces 10 and 10 of cooked rice formed for the rice ball to afford the objective rice ball sandwich, which is subsequently placed and packaged with the film (A) so as to make the line of the part where the ingredient material (11a) and (11b) are placed side by side in the center coincide with the perforations 8. |
