<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymer metal complex capable of being used as a gas-adsorbent, and to provide a gas separation apparatus and a gas storage apparatus each using the polymer metal complex. <P>SOLUTION: This polymer metal complex having a structural unit of the formula: [XY<SB>2</SB>L<SB>2</SB>]<SB>n</SB>(Y is a counter ion; L is an organic ligand). Y includes BF<SB>4</SB><SP>-</SP>, and the organic ligand L includes 4,4'-bipyridyl.
