摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject plant improved in taste of rice by introducing a vector obtained by introducing sense NDA of a rice starch synthetase gene into the downstream of a specific promotor into a protoplast of rice to form a colony and regenerating a plant body from the colony. CONSTITUTION:A vector obtained by introducing sense NDA or anti-DNA of a rice starch synthetase gene into the downstream of a promotor expressed by albumen is mixed with a protoplast suspension derived from Gramineae plant such as glutinous rice and a hygromycin phosphotransferase gene is added to the mixture and electric pulse is applied thereto to introduce the vector into the plasmid and the plasmid is cultured in a culture medium containing rice culturing cell to form a colony and a plant body is regenerated from the colony to provide the objective Gramineous plant artificially improved in taste of rice by changing amylose content of rice.
