PURPOSE:To provide a thermal record medium having excellent corrosion resistance and high print sensitivity and quality by using a metallic thin film layer as a masking layer, melting and breaking the layer with heat so as to eliminate the masking property and record image information. CONSTITUTION:On at least one face of a support body 1, a coloring layer 2, a thermal sensitizing layer 3, a metallic thin film layer 4, and a heat resistant protective layer 5 are arranged in sequence from the support body 1. The metallic thin film layer 4 is melted with heat and broken so as to eliminate the masking property and to record image. The thermal sensitizing layer 3 contains thermoplastic urethane resin. |
