PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition comprising a specific acylamino acid and an ampholytic surfactant, having low irritation to skin and hair, excellent slipperiness, foaming properties, foam removal and feeling in use, suitable for cleaning skin, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) a salt of a secondary amide type N-acylamino acid of the formula (R<1>CO is 10-16C straight-chain acyl; n is 1 or 2; M<1> is sodium, potassium or alkanolammonium when n is 1 and M<1> is potassium or alkanolammonium when n is 2), (B) an ampholytic surfactant such as carbobetaine-based surfactant and preferably (C) a salt of a higher fatty acid (e.g. sodium laurate). The blending ratio of the components A to the component C is preferably A/B=50/1 to 5/1 and C/(A+B)=1/10 to 1/3 by weight. |
