<p>PURPOSE:To provide an iron head for golf club which is constituted so that the head can be correctly set with a right lie angle and directing the face towards an object in a simple manner even on an inclined ground or a rough ground, and the superior passing performance in swing is obtained, and a ball can be easily caught by the sweet spot on the face surface, and the direction performance of the struck ball can be stabilized, and the aimed trajectroy and flight distance of the struck ball can be obtained according to the club number. CONSTITUTION:A top line 5 which extends straightly and horizontally from the heel side to the toe side in parallel to a lateral groove 3a on the face plate part 3 of a head body 1, and the loft angle alpha of the face plate part 3 and the lie angle beta of a neck part 2 are set according to each club number, having the top line 5 as standard surface, and the face plate part 3 is formed to a nearly semicircular disc form, having the top line 5 as upper edge, and a sole plate part 4 is projectingly installed in the rear part, in curved form to a circular shape from the heel side to the toe side along the edge 3b of the face plate part 3 having a nearly semicircular disc shape.</p> |
